When I moved to Bremerhaven, I was amazed to see all the different accommodations this city had to offer its students. What would usually only be available to the elite in other cities, is accessible for almost everyone. Captain villas, former Hotel-suites or an apartment balcony with a view of the sea.
Inspired by this I decided that we should show that to the world. And so a few months ago I started working on a new photographic series. Since the end of March the shooting time is over and and it took another few weeks to finish the postproduction.
I want to thank all those who were my photo models – it was so great to get to know you! Thank you so much for letting me in into your life for a few minutes. Thanks also to my 2 photo assistants, to the ones who helped me finding and organizing the locations and thanks to everybody who supported me any other way in realizing LIVE LIKE KINGS.
